Steady Wisdom: 108 Verses On Changing My Thinking
DAY 37
I am self-shining, formless, all-pervasive, unborn, free from prana, free from the mind, pure and that which is the truth of maya.
-Mundaka Upanishad 2.1.2
Meditation
As consciousness, I am self-evident—I do not require an external means to be known because I am the essence of knowing itself. As such I am the knower of all forms, which means I myself have no form. As pure existence I am unborn, for that which truly exists has no beginning and no end. As the true nature of the entire universe, I am all-pervasive. The vital functions of the body (prana) and the mind are illusory forms caused by maya. As the one reality that makes the illusion of maya possible, I am unaffected by maya and the illusory forms it creates. I am ever-pure. OM.
